Did you know that Emerald is Pantone's Color of the Year?
Pantone, the international colour association responsible for forecasting colour for fashion, design and more, has chosen emerald as the colour of 2013 and we think this vibrant green is just the pick me up we need at this time of year. We've seen designers like Miles Redd use emerald on cabinetry in a kitchen for a very bold look but if an all green kitchen is not your style you can still incorporate it into your home with accessories. We also love the idea of having just one emerald focal point like the kitchen island in this kitchen from House Beautiful.
