The IKAN Proven Process

1. Discovery

This is one of our favourite parts of a project—getting to know you.

At IKAN, you are part of the design process from the beginning. We want to know all about your style and how you envision living your best life in your kitchen space. From the comfort of your home, or in our inviting showroom, we introduce you to all the possibilities of cabinetry, and get right down to the details, talking concepts, colours, functionality, handles and finishings.

Your dream kitchen starts to take shape during our first meeting.

2. Design Presentation

Whether it’s turn-of-the-century lines or sleek and modern you desire, whether you want to reconfigure a smaller space or revitalize with a renovation, our designers and carpenters have the expertise to build a kitchen that will go above and beyond your expectations.

In this phase, we present you with a first draft design of your future kitchen, and have the opportunity to make changes before we finalize design and secure an installation date.

3. Confirm Measurements & Order Material

When it comes to kitchen installations, accuracy is everything. We like to check measurements, and then with an onsite visit, check them again before we order your materials.

We take this stage to check in with you, too. Before we finalize design, we want you to be happy and confident before installation begins.

4. Product Management

This might be one of YOUR favourite parts of the project—being free of the logistics of product collection and handling!

Once inventory has been ordered and received, we assemble 100% of the product in our warehouse to minimize interruption to your daily home life. We show up on installation day ready to go!

5. Installation

On installation day, you can feel confident you have professionals working in your home and ready to deliver a quality product. Our Proven Process guarantees your site is protected and work stations are set up to support efficient workflow for everyone involved.

On install day, and throughout the project, your designer is available and in constant communication with installers to ensure quality and accuracy at every step, as well as make minimal impact on your home.

6. Follow up

Project follow-up is one of our most important Proven Process steps—to make sure you feel taken care of.

During a designer site visit, you have the opportunity to review the outcome of your new kitchen, and provide feedback on your IKAN experience. It’s important to us that you know we are here for you.
